Happy World Falun Dafa Day! May 13th marks the 31st anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public. Falun Dafa, also called Falun Gong, is a traditional Chinese mind-body practice that consists study to improve one’s character and five easy-to-learn exercises to purify the body. The foundational principles of the practice are Truthfulness (真), Compassion (善), and Forbearance (忍). Falun Dafa is free to learn and is practiced by people from all walks of life in more than 100 countries. The practice has benefitted tens of millions around the world.
We will have a Word Falun Dafa Day celebration on the green next to the Liberty Bell on Saturday, May 13, from 10:15 AM to 12:45 PM. (Please see the first link below for the location.) The celebration will consist of group exercise with dozens of practitioners. Practitioners will be available to teach the exercises. Calligraphers will be available to draw your name in Chinese.
