The Persecution of Falun Dafa
The United States Declaration of Independence states: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” In the United States and other free countries, we have God-given rights and freedoms. Here, we have the freedom to believe in Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, and to practice its core values of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.
Unfortunately, since July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party has been brutally persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in China for remaining steadfast in their beliefs. The persecution is still happening today, with tens of millions of people being targeted. The regime’s crimes against humanity include torture, murder and forced organ harvesting.
