The Beauty of Ancient China Before Communism: Just as in other great civilizations of the past, Chinese people believed that the greatest ideas and achievements have been divinely inspired. Shen Yun is the world’s premier Chinese dance company, and they are showing audiences around the globe what Chinese performing arts were before China became a communist dictatorship. And each of Shen Yun’s eight touring groups travels with its own orchestra, who combine classical Western instruments with classical Chinese instruments.
The Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association is the presenter of Shen Yun shows in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. From April 12-16, Shen Yun performed to solid-out audiences in Philadelphia’s Miller Theater. (Shen Yun also performed in Pittsburgh’s Benedum Center in January.) We hope to see you next year.
